Pure Offices has been based in Ferneberga House on Alexandra Road, Farnborough for over 8 years now – the building is known locally as “The Old Town Hall” as the Council Offices were based there for a number of years.
But did you know Farnborough was founded in Saxon Times and is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086? The name Farnborough is formed from Ferneberga, which means ‘fern hill’.
The Town has actually undergone various name changes throughout the centuries: Ferneberga (11th century); Farnburghe, Farenberg (13th century); Farnborowe, Fremborough, Farneborough (16th century).
Ferneberga House is a beautiful Grade 2 listed building, built during the Victorian period it was refurbished in 2009 when Pure Offices bought it. Many of the original features have been retained and the occupiers in the Centre love the quirkiness and character of this charming building which offers a relaxing yet professional place to work.
Our Alexandra Road Centre has always been very popular and therefore we have had limited availability over the past couple of years. However, we now have one large office and a couple of small offices to rent, so why not give us a call on 01252 757133 and book an appointment to view?
